We were much better in 13.

Not at the time the two teams played in September. Auburn improved dramatically after the LSU loss, and LSU steadily declined as the season went on at it usually did during Miles' tenure. LSU was a 17-point favorite in that game and it was a Week 3 game the season after Auburn had gone 0-8 in the SEC.

After '07, LSU regressed just about every season as each season worn down. We were almost always a better September/October team than we were in Novemeber under Miles. Another reason I'm glad he's gone.

We just made too many mistakes in the first quarter. I still believe we we're the better team overall. The second half was more of a comparison of the two teams.

We came out flat and LSU just pushed our shite in during the first two quarters.. Lots of stupid things happened

I dont say it often but Auburn was the best team in the country in 13. I still believe that

My cigar will look better at night after the win, but oh well. I'll still be lighting up just the same in the afternoon.

or we beat the shite out of the Gus bus.

Well that's certainly not gonna happen. I wouldn't be surprised if LSU was shut out. Auburns DL will abuse that pitiful excuse of an OL and run at will on LSU. Auburn beats the brakes off LSU.

I honestly believe that LSU is fired up after beating the gators and play lights out especially after a the embarrassing loss at home to Troy. If AU comes in thinking it’s an easy win well it will be another notch in the streak.

I agree. As an Auburn fan I can't bring myself to count any game as an easy W. Esp in Death Valley.

If Auburn doesn't weather the early emotional storm we get from LSU, it could hurt.
