Terry Godwin apparently made it as well.

As too did Trent Thompson. If the tix are free and UGA isn't playing, why the hell not?

Kind of comical that Georgia has offered scholarships to his sister and Jonathan Ledbetter's brother to keep them away from Auburn and Alabama. The very thing Georgia posters on this board have spent the last couple of years crying about Ole Miss doing in Leremy Tunsil's recruitment

GTFO. UGA invented the Cootieship

The Cootieship (named for Cootie Harrow) was created to secure the signature of Isaiah Crowell. He made it worth it and then some when he smoked Tre Mason on a kick return.

Cootie was dismissed shortly after Crow.

It's nice to see that there are a few good Auburn folks that have finally gotten to their limit concerning shamelessly forsaking moral standards just to win a football game...kudos

I don't think anyone cares about a little misdemeanoring, its taking violent offenders like this guy or Pettway that it is over the line to take.

Pettway
Kid is lucky he is not in the state pen. Dakota Mosley was just the get away driver and never went inside the house, yet he was sentenced to 3 years in prison for his role in the robbery at Auburn a few years ago.

The Alabama student newspaper even said Pettway and his gang of thugs easily could have been charged with first degree robbery under Alabama law. That would have been class A felony and almost certainly would have equaled jail time

You make a good point, but the fact remains that Pettway didn't personally assault anybody, as has been misstated on this forum many times. Also, I'd imagine the fact that he has never had any previous problem with the law before may have been a factor, don't you think?

Misstated?

except the police report, statements from the victim, and fellow participants

I am not sure it matters if Pettway physically assaulted anyone. He at the very least was involved in what happened the same way Dakota Mosley was involved in the robbery at Auburn

Why? Auburn has a pretty good track record of taking kids with problems and making them good players and keeping them out of trouble.

We all get on here and pretend to be for the kids, but when a guy like this tries to get on a team none of us want him. That said, he messed up at UGA, so he had to go. But, Auburn sees a need, and can possibily help him to boot.

I see no problem with Auburn takig him...and I hope he does well at turning his life around.
