If Vandy wins...

But it's not happening.

The only chance Vandy has is to keep it ugly. Zach Cunningham will have to be a heat seeking missle, maybe even more so than he was against UGA. Torren McGaster and Tre Herndon will have to play lockdown coverage. Ryan White and Tarpley on the back end will have to clean up any breakthroughs and prevent the big chunk plays.

On the offense, receivers just have to catch passes. They finally did that against an overmatched TSU. Whether they can do that against Auburn's secondary is another question. Drops have plagued them, but maybe they spent the entire bye week in front of the jugs machine. Ralph Webb will also have to rip off at least 2 20+ yard runs. Khari Blasingame will have to earn some very ugly yards to keep drives going.

Looking forward to this game. I have the feeling it'll be less stressful than last weekend.

I'm almost a little scared that a Vandy upset will result in me losing my Auburn board access. And I would honestly feel really bad if this loss kept them out of the playoff. Why can't this be like 2012 where Auburn is already done?

You already took advantage of that scenario. And the meltodown in '08 as well.

You're due another win in the series in another 50 years or so. Just be patient.

Derek Mason is gonna expose that Mickey Mouse offense just like Arkansas! Oh, wait, maybe he'll do a little better. I hope so...

vandy has won there last two games including one game at UGA. The win vs UGA was Derek mason's first road sec win as a coach and i think he can do it again this weekend

Nothing against Vandy, but UGA is awful.

Vandy has a great defense. They'll make it tough for AU to score, but I just don't see Vandy's offense scoring on us. Could be a 17-3 type game.

I have been high on auburn for the last month. No chance for a Vandy win but this game could be fairly close. I think Vandy matches up pretty well with Auburn on Defense. However, they wont be able to move the ball at all.

If Auburn scores a single field goal they will beat Vandy. Vandy's offense is terrible. I believe AU works on the passing game some, and gives UGA and UA a few new wrinkles to have to plan for. I think Vandy's D is a bit over rated as they haven't exactly played any highly regarded offenses. My guess is something along the lines of Auburn 38- Vandy 6.

Vandy won't win, but they'll put up a better defensive fight than Ole Miss's wet-paper-bag Land Sharks

Aub vs Vandy prediction -
AU does have a losing record vs Vandy:

20-21-1

True, but we have not lost to them at home, EVER. Out last loss in the state was when we played them in MONTGOMERY, in 1948... Auburn was bad then, Vandy Good.

We do not play them often and we are 13 and 2 since we started playing them on any kind of regular basis in 1978 (first regular season game since 1951. From 1893 to 1951 Vandy held the series lead 18-7.

Zach Cunningham is a man. No doubt. Will play on sunday. But he's one guy.

He's not the only one. We have some other guys that fly under the radar due to Zach's status. I'm really interested to see how they handle the game. The design of the defense with the DL primarily tasked with eating up blockers frees up the LB corps to make plays.
