I beg to differ. With a $511000 bond, I'd say they'll all be hosting sore arse pipes for quite awhile.

Gez, what the hell did they do? Break in and steal Jim Tressel's sweater vest?

Pretty sure he led your team in tackles against Oregon.

You're right though.... no big deal.

Damn... you picked out one game against a spread option team to prove your point

I'll go with the fact he hasn't had a single INT in his 3 years playing (something even Neiko has managed). Oh, Neiko also had 8 more tackles on the year than McNeil, I guess he's a better tackler too.

Mike was a complete liability in pass coverage. Even Zac was better than him.

Long TD vs UGA given up. Check.
Long TD vs Bama given up. Check.
Long pass play vs. Oregon given up. Check.

He didn't even start until Savage went down for the year against Arky.

I always thought the safety was supposed to be good in coverage. Sabear must teach you differently.

Davidson High football coach Fred Riley, who coached McNeil in high school, said he was surprised.

"I'm deeply disturbed and disappointed at this if it actually occurred," Riley said. "I'm certainly surprised. In his four years here, I don't know if he was ever called in the front office. It's certainly not something that I ever saw in his character."

Sounds like he's saying Auburn is a bad influence.

kinda makes you wonder if they'd ever gone that path if they hadn't been subjected to the influences that E Smith fella had that Chiz couldn't do without.

Smith's influence? I guarantee Kitchens and Goodwin were pretty thug before they got to Auburn.

From an Au site:

quote:

Wow. First time we've had something like this happen in a long while. This doesn't look good for these players. I'm sure their dismissal from the team will be complete by the end of the day. What could they have been thinking so close to the start of spring practice?

Like it woulda been ok if spring practice was over already.

Mentioned near the end of Finebaum, haven't heard it confirmed anywhere else. Maybe Worldwide Walt posted bail for his boy.

Like LSU never had players arrested. People need to realize that most of these talented players come from single home families and crime is the norm for them.

LSU never had 4 players charged with multiple Class A Felonies all at the same time. Don't be "nave", this is a whole lot more than a case of social consequense.
