Auburn fans are fun, docile creatures when they know a loss is inevitable. I sat in the student section at the iron bowl last year and had a stranger share her whiskey with me all game
If it's a close game, or expected to be a close game, the mood is different..and even when they expect to lose, they're still pissed when it happens, so the mood is different afterwards

What's sarcastic...i'm sure you'll whine about the refs at minimum 12 times before this year is up.
In this case i'll give you art imitating life, but i still suspect you're one of those that things the refs have it out for lsu. You just strike me as the type.

Anyways, I don't really mind AU, I dislike Bama way more. But the post about all the things their players have done in the past like Fairly's cheap shots... I do have to say my disdain has risen since reading this thread.
I hope it's a beatdown saturday. And to think, Herb said they could be a sleeper contender.

frick Auburn. They were the team I hated most in the SEC until Saban went to Bama. Deep down I still hate Auburn more than Bama.

Sorry, forgot to answer the OP.
I like LSU. I like Les Miles. Every matchup Ive been to has been great. Had a couple random drunk youngsters try to get in my face but it wasnt ever a big deal. My wife and I got the royal treatment last year. Met a bunch of guys that were friends of friends and they took us to some small bar that had great food. Boodan (sp?) balls were great.

I don't think the refs have it out for LSU but they do seem to make a lot of questionable calls that seem to go in AL or AU favor. A lot of those calls in big game changing situations...you don't see many LSU fans griping about bad calls in our FL games...
In response to AU fans saying we should get over the cigar smoking, eye stomping thuggery in our stadium, I am sure if the situation was reversed ya'll would be fine with it...it would be forgotten by now, right? Give me a break.
I have no problem with most AU fans but for a while there (hello Tubby) the classless behavior of their team caused me to develop some hatred for them...that is now slowly moving toward pity...
auburn quit against us last year and if they don't show some pride this year, they are in for a long period of Soul crushing mediocracy...
