Yet never sniffed a championship while they were there. Halas was a penny-pincher of an owner.

Bo played 3 years and had a career ending injury, but was very good in his time, especially considering he was coming straight out of beaseball. I think the average career for a NFL RB is about 3 years anyway.
Bruce, although never lived up to #1 hype, played 10 years in the NFL, which is pretty solid.
