I had to look up the stats, after reading that. Etling was 9-16 passing, so were the other passes screens or something?

This is correct. Etling had 9 completions:

He checks down to the running back on the majority of his passes. I've posted picture evidence below on why he's so bad. We did throw a TE screen on 3rd and short which worked and was an excellent call. Also, our leading rusher vs Florida was a receiver.
In the first picture Etling threw the ball to Guice instead of the wide open Stephen Sullivan (#10). In the second he triple clutched then threw the ball to Sullivan as he ran right into the Florida defender instead of throwing to Gage or Williams
