Ian Kinsler would be shocked.

Or...maybe not since he played there.

I've been to several, and they're great! They're just not going to be like LSU games. They won't be incredibly well attended, but you'll have fun and people will be friendly and welcoming.

I went to a couple Mizzou baseball games about six years ago. They were indeed sparsely attended... baseball was just not a sport that was emphasized at Mizzou at that point. I'm not sure if that will change.

It possible that LSU can take over CoMo during spring like its Omaha in June!

Bring an umbrella. We'll do a second line dance right through their stadium. Maybe toss out some Mardi Gras beads.

Im also thinking about making the trip. I enjoyed my last trip to Columbia when i caught a football game a few years back.

I think the STL alumni chapter is planning a trip to the game and you'd be surprised that there are quite few LSU fans in CoMo, myself included. I doubt Mizzou will have many fans and 90% of the ones that do show up will be because it's LSU.

Another poster mentioned Stony Creek and the Hampton Inn and both of those are good choices. Columbia doesn't have many decent hotel options, so those are two of the best.

I'll be there. Taking my son and will have some Mizzou fans with us. Will probably reserve rooms at one if those hotels.

Thanks for the advise. Look forward to seeing some purple & gold up in CoMo.

I'm talking about taking the kid down for the weekend. And no, probably wouldn't have before. So yes, the SEC and LSU have something to do with it.
