Agreed. If only Biloxi's new MGM Park had more seating. Would be a great venue for it.

Hoover is a bad site for this event. I am at the event and have been for 10 years in A ROW.

Move the damned thing to Memphis for a few years and see what they can do with it. Nicer park. Can stay close and never get in your car. The park is in an arts/entertainment district.

He's mad that his team sucks at everything.

Sooo, with that he tries to write baseball off as an irrelevant sport.

Even though he started the thread.

To be fair, they've only made it three years in a row since they've expanded it to all but 2 teams. But congrats in being 9-21 in conference play.

It has been all but 2 teams for a while. It was 10 teams up until 2013 when we added 2 more teams to the tourney with the addition of TAMU and MIZZOU.

Birmingham has that with Regions Field, minus hotels within walking distance. I've lived in Bham for 16 years now and have been to 1 SEC tourney game. Hoover Met is just so far out of the way and a pain to get in and out of. One road in, one road out. No thanks.

Have a downvote for using the word "cray" with a straight face.

I'd rather them do this. Men's basketball does this.

It's fun going to different places every few years. I went to New Orleans, then Nashville for SEC Basketball.

It would be nice to get something in Texas one year.

Constellation Field would be a good set up. Room for parking like at Hoover, but something different. Houston is just minutes away.
