Does anyone know how the school is regarded?

Is it a stepping stone, career destination, or a graveyard?

Anyone know?

It’s a highly paid job in the middle of very fruitful recruiting grounds. The Golden Triangle. Next coach up.

A school that overpays coaches for one good season.

Look at who they'be hired how they did and what the did afterwards.

Their success story is from the mid-50s who had success after them in the sec and a guy in the 80s who was able to do something they never were after them in winning the sec west.

Resources are second to no one. There's just a curse or something in College Station.

You get paid 100 million to go 8-4. Who wouldn’t want that job?

It was a stepping stone for Bear Bryant & Gene Stallings then they decided cheating was cool and has been a graveyard ever since.

If they’re willing to pay $75 million not to coach, I suspect coaches admire them.
