The system got you in, nothing more. You are trying to convince yourself that the system will magically convince people that a 1, or even a 3 point win for Bama is any more convincing than a 3 point win for LSU. You will be convinced, since I assume you already are. The backlash of this game before it even happened implies many won't be.
Of course it doesn't matter. Winner take all. This is more about how silly you guys sound when you demand people to have the idea that LSU winning doesn't mean anything in regards to determining the better team, but suddenly this game, however small a margin, will do just that...only if Bama wins, of course.

Wait so I'm the homer for not believing that LSU was the best team on Nov 5th but you are completely reasonable for thinking that LSU is the best team even if Bama wins tonight? LSU logic is swamp drunk!

Swing and a miss. The "best team" debate will only become more unclear if Bama wins by a small margin. An LSU win will show that 11/5 was not a fluke. A big Bama win will show it probably was. Since the game has not been played, I look at LSU as the better team at this point, because they won the only game.

I agree with this. I don't think LSu is better than Bama but I don't necessarily think Bama is better than LSU if that makes any sense. I was and still am against a rematch (although I still want Bama to win mind you) because of the uncertainty left in the wake of a small margin victory by us. If we win I hope we win big otherwise like you say, there will be much mashing of teeth of who is the real champ and why does LSU not get a best two out of three? If LSU win, even by the smallest of margin then hopefuly all Bama fans will congratulate LSU as the very best team this year. Doubtful since we have some dipshit fans but that is my hope nonetheless.

Perhaps I tried to read between the lines of your post too much.
At any rate here's to a great game and a game in which both teams play at their very highest level with zero injuries.
