The pigz are more quantity than quality. Their trolling is subpar. It just so happens that trolling is all they do.

The area around home plate was like that for the LSU series too. One of the guys we went to the series with asked an aggie staff member he went to school with and was told a member of the field crew had mistakenly mixed a higher level of fertilizer in with some routine maintenance. Apparently burned the grass and root system before they could water it down enough to stop. I say just paint that shite for the last series there and on tv.

Anyone remember when the hogs were arguably the best trolls on this board?
Its just sad now.
It's all they've had going for the past several years and they're out of material.

It really is kind of sad. The track shite only gets you so far.
I knew it was over during the whole Columbia parking structure debate. I hope it returns soon.

I don't ever click or read Stonehog's posts; but it's getting to the point where I'll take the same approach with all Arkansas posters.

It has little to do with that actually. This was a result of the transition from cold to warm according to the grounds keepers.
One of the guys on the aggie baseball boards explained it best.

Word from the guy that sits behind me is that it is, in fact, a bad spring transition. (He's friends with Leo). Apparently the winter rye grass died out before the Bermuda took hold. Combination of temperature and rain (or lack of) plus the daily wear and the result is what you see. I'll take his word for it. His son was on the grounds crew a few year's back.

Yeah, I was just answering yet another solid question from an Arkansas fan.
Thanks, Sig.

As much as you Aggies would like to view this as a troll, it wasn't.
The field looked bad on television and I was curious the reasoning. Knowing y'all's park was newly renovated and all.
