to be fair, much of the media bias comes from A&M always treating its journalism department like a scourge before they finally killed it in the early 2000s.
If we were producing writers, radio and tv personalities, and other journalists at the clip Texas was, we wouldn't be constantly dumped on in the Texas media.

I think your traditions and culture have a lot to do with it as well. It's pretty hard to relate to for everyone not born an Aggie. Easy media targets for being weird.

Why would they need the SEC for motivation? It's not like they were cleaning up in the Big 12.
