Mack Brown certainly does not want that matchup

I honest-to-God feel sorry for Longhorn fans. A year and a half ago, they were screaming about how we were killing our recruiting in the state, how they never wanted to play us again, and how we were going to get killed in the SEC. "No top Texas kid is going to want to go play for a bottom of the barrel SEC team."

18 short months later, and you're reduced to transparent attempts of reverse psychology in a desperate attempt to get us to play you again. It's so bad for you, I can't even enjoy it. If I could shoot you in the head just to put you ought of your misery, as an act of mercy, I'd do it.

All smack aside, you are incorrect.
I'm completely indifferent about the Ags facing the Horns.
And I certainly don't "know" that my team would lose.

Would yall consider this a successful start to your time in the SEC?

If we could get Texas in the Cotton Bowl, nothing else would matter.

It would be a perfect setup for Texas. By then, Sumlin will have 1 foot out the door on his way to the NFL or USC or hell, maybe even gone by then. JFF will be not scramble much because he'll not want to risk injury so close to the NFL draft. It would be a small upset with UT winning by a TD or more.

If you really think texas can beat A&M then you live in a fantasy world.

Texas can absolutely beat A&M and it would be the perfect sendoff for Mack Brown.

how many of those games were you around for Gramps? Which school other than Texas did you attend by the way?

I think Texas could beat ATM.

Lose JFF to injury and it's all downhill from there.

Texas vs. A&M in Manziel's last game would outdo every BCS game with the exception of the title game.

Even IF Sumlin was gone JFF would use this as a chance to get revenge on Mack for never even caring to meet with him during recruiting.

Johnny is WAY too competitive to not go balls to the wall against the school that rejected him.

My how the mighty have fallen. Praying for a dream scenario of Texas managing to be good enough for the Cotton while A&M falls there and somehow beating us. K, good luck with all that.

Playing Texas in the Cotton would be a disappointment. A&M needs a BCS game this year to show progression. Beating Texas this year also does nothing for us, we are already destroying them in recruiting and are considered the far better team. Still, I don't see any way we fail to win that game by double digits. Texas has absolutely no way of containing a guy like JFF and their offense is inconsistent at best. They also couldn't bring the Iowa State refs to the Cotton to keep it close.

I'd have zero problem at all admitting it if I harbored a strong feeling about that match-up, one way or another.
I don't.
Were it to actually happen (Ags v horns), my opinion would prob change closer to the game.
But as of now?
Meh.

Don't even give Big12fan a serious response, I guarantee he is some high school kid who faps to the Vince Young poster above his bed, his dream date probably involves watching Case McCoy watch someone else have sex
