33% to UT University system
33% to UT Medical system
33% to A&M University system.
The PUF is primarily used for expansion projects, so building, renovation, etc.

Yeah, the dumbasses will try to make this about football. But anyone with any remote knowledge understands the PUF is used to help fund places like the UT Health Science Center, M.D. Anderson Cancer Center, and the genetic library at A&M.

I think they have an affiliation with UT Austin, who refers to themselves as "Texas".
But that school has very little to do with the actual STATE of Texas.

Nope, and A&M had to sue to get the 1/3. Our endowment is #7 or #8 in 2015, so no need to have any gripes.
There is a little bit of weirdness in the PUF in that Prairie View used to have some access to it before the 1984 law that that extended it to the majority of the A&M and Texas system schools. However, due to legacy, the PV portion comes from the Texas share. The total is tiny though for PV.
