Hackett is a media darling and he gets to punt at high altitude.

Nkemdiche should be 2nd team at best, and if he weren't the number one recruit out of hs, he probably wouldn't be listed above 3rd team.
He will only be a top 10 pick next April because he was the number one overall recruit.

He will only get paid millions and have a long nfl career because he was the number one overall recruit

RK is good player but not among the top 5 DL in the country. There are many players selected in the 1st RD of the NFL draft every year that were never named to AA teams. He just hasn't done enough at the college level to deserve AA honors but he does have good enough measurables and potential to garner 1st RD selection.

He takes off plays and is a cancer in the locker room. I hate him.

Except he keeps getting named to all-American teams and all

Finally some honesty in this thread.

He sucks. I hope he transfers somewhere before the season starts. It's a damn shame he is wasting his talent playing at a lowly school like OLE PISS.

And that's why he's overrated.

IMO, Scott is the reason Alabama ended up staying close in the Sugar Bowl. His punting in the second half was unreal.
73 fricking yards

He keeps getting put on these list over and over by numerous publications. But they are all wrong. The members of this fine website know better. He is overrated and only put on these list because he was the number one overall recruit

I like how he says they should have excellent field position before the kick...
Punted down to the 10 yard line

Serious question on Treadwell do people select him because of his hs rankings? this is honestly why people claim sec bias, there's at least 3 acc wr better than laquon, how do you explain putting Treadwell over higgins who led the entire nation in yards last year???
I was saying the exact thing in my head. I mean seriously, what in the hell has Treadwell done? I remember just a year ago when they said DGB hadn't been living up to expectations and that's after he had put up over 800 yards and 12 TDs in his sophomore season.
Treadwell was doing pretty decent last year and would have probably finish over 900 receiving, but he didn't, and he got injured. Putting him as a top 2 WR all offseason is setting this dude up for major disappointment if he doesn't come back 100% and I mean mentally and physically.
A guy like Higgins who led the nation in yards, ypg, TDs, receiving plays over 30 and 40 yards, and is the returning leader in receiving plays over 10 yards (tied for 3rd last year with 2 less games than Cooper, and 1 less game than both Hardy and Lockett), and you put Treadwell over him?
A guy like Pharoah Cooper who put up over 1100 yards and 9 TDs plus TDs in rushing and passing? A guy like Corey Coleman that put up over 1100 yards and 11 TDs in only 10 games?
Give me a break. This isn't a pro player list, this is supposed to be All Americans and those are usually based on production, and how well they played. Treadwell was outside the top 50 in ypg, 48th in receptions per game, and his projected TDs would have only tied for 55th.

Ok so the top 4 stat earners at their positions should make up the four teams.

After two stellar WR classes, there seems to be a bit of a drop overall for the position group. I know the Pac - 12 will have a deficit this year unless some players come out of no where.
On the other hand, Royce Freeman isn't a top 8 back and I really can't complain about his exclusion with the names on the list. RB is loaded.
The top end talent this year in its entirety is a little lackluster.

Treadwell's stats weren't even the best in the state of Mississippi.
