You know you have fallen off when you talk up 5* players on your team. Most teams know they don't always pan out and very rarely live up to the extreme expectations bc of Injuries, transition, and off field incidents can get in the way very fast. But keep counting on those talented freshman to carry your team. Depth is the name of the game and you need to recruit these type guys for 4 to 5 years straight to sustain a SEC season. Some get lucky and have the right mixture in two years but not often.

Exactly...UT fans should look at how LSU fans were silent on Fournette before last season as an example.

I hope UT indeed returns to prominence and I think they will.
but quoting Athlon is not a good sign. they know less than any pub I know about college football. and I'm sure them being in Nashville has no bering on their slant.
