Auburn has a DB on first team but projected first round pick Cam Sutton is second team. Okay.

Why do you think he isn't getting attention at this point? Many preseason teams have been released, and he is never one the first team. Do you think they are penalizing him because of a new quarterback? Or is he not a good blocker or something?

yeah. My only two gripes are no Jalen Reeves-Maybin and Sutton 2nd team instead of first, but a pretty solid list overall.

Jarran Reed is listed as a DE, but he's pretty much exclusively a noseguard.

Just from the LSU perspective:
-Surprised Vadal is only 3rd team since he has been on 1st team in almost every other list.
-Glad to see Beckwith and Godchaux finally getting the praise they deserve.
-Interesting that they put Jamal Adams 1st team over Mills because while I agree he is better every other service has Mills way ahead of Adams.
-I just do not get the Johnathan Jones 1st/2nd team on all these lists. Would take White or Sutton over him every time.

He's not a tight end in the traditional sense. He's a reciever out there because he causes matchup problems. I think that's the main reason why.
Oh and once again "overrated" Robert Nkemdiche is first team All-SEC for a publication. But I guess Athlon as well as the dozens of other publications and NFL scouts don't know as much as the Rant's experts.

They certainly don't know as much as the coaches in the SEC, who are responsible for game planning for him - and left him off their All-SEC list all together at the end of last year.

They also left Laremy Tunsil off their first team. Forgive me if i don't find their list flawless
