Well he had nearly 1000 in 10 games playing injured most of the time. I say he is around the 1400+ yard mark. Davis kind of wore down last year so it is possible that if paced, he could have a 1300-1400 yard year. Also, the #1 back (he gets at least 50 carries over the #2) at Arky and Auburn could reach 1400-1500.

Who would you say is RBU, Georgia or bama?

Disregarding pros I assume?

I don't know enough about bama to hazard a guess. They've definitely got the edge under saban since they keep plugging in studs. Historically who knows, we've had some great ones as have they.

It must be tough being an LSU fan with ESPN and Athlon hating you guys.

I, for one, have lost many a night's sleep over it.

Davis is as good a pick as any to lead the league in rushing, but I believe that by the end of the season Henry will be the best back in the SEC.

Gurley, Yeldon, and Mike Davis are the safe bets. LSU will rotate heavily at the RB position and we'll probably have Magee rush for about 1,000 and Fournette rush for 750 or so.

Jeremy Hill came in as a true freshman and ran for 740 yards and 12 TDs against Idaho (played in only the fourth quarter), USCe, TAMU, Bama, MSU, Ole Miss, Arkansas, and Clemson. That is with a horrific passing game and an OL that just lost three starters a replaced them with a sohpmore, true freshman, and redshirt freshman.

Magee was relegated to WR because he couldn't crack the 5 deep in 2012 yet he is going to get 1000 while the #1 recruit in the nation is going to get 750? Hell Marshall had 760 as a backup to Gurley (both true freshman).

Also you can't use the passing game BS excuse because Crowell was a 5 star back and couldn't net a 1000 as the main horse while Murray passed for 3150 and 35 TDs. Collins (true freshman) and Williams from Arkansas had 1000 and 900 yards respectively with arse at quarterback.

After watching true freshman RBs from the past 4 years go over the 1000, 1100, 1200, 1300 yard mark with 12, 15, 17 TDs with varying OLs, passing games, and backfield situations, I have no doubt in my mind that Fournette will be the next one. Don't care what anybody says, he is a 1200-1300 yard runner this year with double digit TDs.

That's my homer call. He will be running behind the best OL in the Conf.. I have no doubt Auburn will throw the ball more, but we will also be the most run heavy team in the Conf.. One thing is for certain, this Conf. is loaded with tremendous RB's.

I think Davis will finish with more rush yards but Gurley will have more TDs and total yards

UGA's OL always seems to be a point of weakness lately.

No kidding. Been so for years.
