How many stadiums in the SEC could top 100k if they reduced the size of each seat to accommodate 1 butt cheek?

Probably none - the 1 butt cheek seats only have us a couple thousand extra. It's still bigger than any of the 90k stadiums regardless of how small the seats may be in certain areas.

They've been improving it, but pretty much. I've seen better bathrooms and concessions at high school stadiums. Parts of it are dungeon like.

It was built in 1924 dumbass. It's one of the original cathedrals of college football. Not a whole lot can be done about the concourses because there is no way to expand them. I do agree that the bathrooms need a major overhaul though.

Why does LSU continue to dump money on the exterior and spend zero inside?. Concessions, restrooms, corridors, scoreboard and tiny video board are horrible. Outside looks great however.

Not a whole lot can be done about the inside. The bathrooms are badly in need of renovation, but there is really no way to expand the concourses. You have to remember that the original structure was built back in 1924.

The video board isn't tiny, it's just covered with ads. Supposedly, there is a new video board and sound system in the works for when the south endzone addition opens in 2014.

Newsflash...cramming 100K+seats into a structure that only has room for 85K is nothing to brag about.

check again..

teh category wasn't "loudest" stadium

You don't have to have been to the stadium to write some drivel based on what you see on TV and read about from the schools' own fanbases. No one who has had to sit through a game at Neyland with someone's knees in their backs, or not been able to get up and down the steps because they aren't wide enough for two-way traffic, or had to stand up every time someone goes up and down the steps because the seats literally have your feet in the aisle, would ever rate Neyland Stadium in the top 50% of stadiums in the conference,

Truth. It's miserable.

I think Neyland gets an artificially inflated ranking because it was the largest and for years it had 100k before everyone else.

Thanks Louisiana Longhorn. Sounds like we are both Louisiana transplants to Texas. I will be in Tiger Stadium for the Aggie game. My last time there was the Tennessee game.
