yall recently haven't been as bad as our bad lately but Bama basketball has NEVER been as good as LSU's good I look for LSU to be like a 7-9, 8-8 team this year and then HOPEFULLY the next year we are back in contention. If Trent can manage to pull Rico Gathers along with Malik Morgan (committed) it'll take no time.

but Mizzou is gonna be a cellar dweller

That might be the point. Mizzou is a name school that adds a tv market but doesn't threaten the dominance of the big dogs in the SEC. Frankly, I would rather have aTm and Mizzou than OU and UT. IMO there is a thing as too strong/difficult of a conference.

You touch on a good point here

The SEC adding two less than elite programs (USC and Arkansas) was a boon to the conference because it increased marketability (geographic footprint) and allowed for a revenue generating conference championship game that generates national attention.

So in some sense the SEC improved by diluting their product (and creating a conference championship game).

If the SEC were to expand to 16 (larger geographic footprint) and get permission from the NCAA for 4 divisions with 2 round playoffs that could generate another increase in revenue

A&M and MU are excellent additions overall for the SEC IMO

I wouldn't care. Hell a lot of gamecock fans agree they would be a good fit in the SEC.

I say bring em on.

I'm tired of hearing "LAWL you're in the SEC and you can't beat us!" when we lose, and "But but but you get SEC talent" when we win.

For the record, I was/am against SEC expansion. It doesn't "feel" right adding those guys. Maybe if it was Clemson and Florida State, but aTm and Missouri?

you do realize that LSU dominates Alabama in basically every relevant basketball category correct? Its only a matter of time before LSU is back where it belongs.
