They have great academics, and they’re good at every sport but football. They’re not getting dropped.

Academics aren’t what’s gonna matter in the new leagues.

It’s all about revenue

When another private school is added.

Way I've heard it explained is with Vandy being a private school the SEC is shielded from FOIA shite. IDK how true that is.

So when the SEC wanted to add Texas and Oklahoma, two teams had to first be dropped? What does one have to do with the other?

I probably should be asking the OP this, and not you, but I'm not sure he has enough brain cells to answer.

They will never leave. Too much money would be lost.

Tulane is still kicking themselves for leaving.

Not really.. What you mean to say is they have a good baseball program, and a women's bowling team. Basketball is bad...They don't even have a softball team? If this really settles into 2 HAVES, there are clearly better athletic departments to add in their place.

That's the thing you "thought" you were funny. Seems to me you never outgrew that and are now trying to be relevant by starting pointless threads here. That's a question, like another has stated for SEC rant.

As long as there is an SEC they won't be and as long as it is decided only on football they will not either.

Why do some of you want to get rid of charter SEC members?

I'd rather get rid of Texas, Oklahoma, A&M, and Mizzou.

I think they will go football only before that happened.

Founding members of a conference do not get dropped. Founding members may move on to other conferences of there own accord, but they will not be voted out.
