The issue is that his helmet was hit by QD's helmet, which should automatically be a penalty without any hesitation at all by an official.

I agree with this 100%. I think the only reason it was not called is the official was standing behind Murray and could not see if there was helmet to helmet contact.

Dial most certainly targeted Murray for a knockout shot.

Only the Oles Miss and Souths Carolina of the world get players suspended for targeting. Little 2.

Glad you agree with the erroneous point made by the unabashed apologist at halftime. Go watch the wide-angle he referenced and see if you by that load for real.

Why do they not apply. Is Texas A&M playing for a national championship?

At what point does a helmet to helmet blindside hit become an acceptable practice?
blindside?!

Someone post the pic of Murray acknowledging he is about to take a shoulder into his shoulder. You know, the pic where you can determine that stool has entered his pants.

Neither this hit was helmet to helmet nor the call on the Georgia defender when he hit AJ. Both led with their shoulders. My issue with the Georgia hit was that it was a few steps late.

Please. That hit was the only thing that prevented an opportunity to catch a touchdown pass. The Georgia hit was the textbook definition of something that shouldn't be legislated out of the game (but obviously is being legislated out).

I'm not trying to be a homer. If anything it was unnecessary roughness, but I don't see his helmet touch Murray's helmet. It's a 2D picture trying to represent 3D reality and even in the pixels there is no red on red.

My only concern is if Dial would be suspended and I don't think he should.

He absolutely should be, nothing but a cheap shot.If that would have happened to Mccraken Bama fans would be calling for his head. Buncha fricking hypocrites.
