@McMurphyESPN: Mizzou player tells @ESPN, MU players & coaches “are pissed (about halting football practices). If we were 9-0 this wouldn't be happening."

They can't confirm that because that information would immediately narrow down the list of suspects to 2.

Hell, if there were still an outside chance at getting to Atlanta this BS wouldn't be happening.

As if I needed another reason to hate mizzou.

It was a white player, but he goes onto say that white AND black players are pissed at the players who brought them into this as they're missing practice time...

quote:

A Missouri Tigers player said Sunday night that the entire team is not united over the decision to stop practicing until grad student Jonathan Butler ends his hunger strike.

"As much as we want to say everyone is united, half the team and coaches -- black and white -- are pissed," the player, who wished to remain anonymous, told ESPN about stopping all football activities. "If we were 9-0, this wouldn't be happening."

The player, who is white, spoke on the condition of anonymity because the coaches told the team not to talk to the media because they thought the situation "would blow over eventually."

On Sunday, coach Gary Pinkel and athletic director Mack Rhoades issued a statement that Missouri did not practice Sunday and indicated "it was clear" the Tigers "do not plan to return to practice until Jonathan resumes eating."

Monday are regular off days for the football team and the coaches told the players to watch film on their own iPads and keep preparing for Saturday's game against BYU in Kansas City, the player said.

The player indicated they had been aware of Butler's hunger strike for several days. However, some black players didn't decide to take any action until Butler met with some players Saturday night.

"Not everyone agrees with the decision (to stop all football activities)," the player said. "Most people are pissed, including the black guys (on the team)."

This Butler guy sounds like a complete idiot.

But if that's the card he wants to choose, go right ahead.

What's the deal with the dude on the hunger strike until Wolfe steps down/is fired? Your coach tweeted a pic supposedly of the entire football team saying they were all united in this "no practice/no play" deal until the guy on the hunger strike eats again.

Would y'all really boycott playing games bc of this crap? Mark Richt has lost control of SJWs.

The real deal with Butler? He's a extreme liberal activist that was pissed off about the planned parenthood disassociation and cutting insurance susbsidies to grad student workers (of which he is one).

Now, a protest against those matters wouldn't bring nearly enough attention. "I got it! I'm black! Let's make this about race!" So he picked up on a couple random, isolated issues. One including a shite smeared swastika (of which there is no photographic evidence?) and is demanding the university president publicly acknowledge his "white privilege" before resigning.

This race baiting shite stain is now holding the entire university hostage in an extortion technique, and according to the post in the OP even a large number of people who want nothing to do with it.
