Assuming UT wins out I would call this season a step in the right direction

They are 8-4 with four losses by a combined 15 points to:

#15 OU
Arkansas
Butch Jones game day coaching probably cost us a win or two.

How can you assume anything with UT when they lost to Arkansas?

That's true but we could easily have finished 10-2 or 11-1. That's very frustrating.

Appears that way right now, but I'm in wait and see mode. If they end up with a one possession win against either Mizzou or Vandy, then they will be 3-4 in one possession games. If they go on to lose a bowl game after that, then 8-5 with the close losses not looking as impressive as they may have previously.
