Asking for $300 for a poor mother

It's not simply the request for $300, it's the belief that request was not isolated to that one time or that one player. It's the belief that a system of payment to playerS was set up and those in positions of authority within the coaching staff and athletic department were actively at best, or tacitly at worst, involved. It is the belief that there is systemic issues there.

As for the Tennessee thing, if true, that will get a ton of coverage. However, the accuser has been discredited on multiple occasions and has a history of filing law suits.

Baylor issues are far worse than OM or UT from a true moral standpoint, but the OM issues are going to get more play on tRant b/c opportunity to rustle OM fans and the near 100% agreement in belief among non OM fans on tRant that OM has been aggressively cheating for years.

Well when not a single thing has been covered up and has in fact has been carried out in the open, it's a little bit annoying to hear straight up lies even after everyone should no better and can't plead ignorance.

Proven to be covering up stuff?

Well shite, I must have missed that.

We haven't even been accused of covering things up
. Some folks need to find out what the lawsuit is actually about.

Poor mother was a married employed nurse who decided to ride the gravy train.

She was most certainly not a nurse. She worked for a ReBear owned home health agency in Oxford making ridiculous money as a "receptionist". They probably payed her like she was one though.

Oh get real.

Many sexual assault allegations are false, and many go unreported. It's a hard subject, because either side could be lying. Also, if proven true.. this will get its own course of vilifying. Either the person who did it, or a person lying about it will be held accountable for their actions.

For a superior authority figure purposely break the rules.. that's not even on the player.. and when you let these things go.. then who knows where else this will go.. This is a competitive disadvantage.

You realize the majority of these players are being compensated with a very expensive school scholarship? Don't give me that they make the program so much money.. They are taken care of and if they choose to really apply themselves in the classroom they can still be fine.. Tunsil is still a millionaire now right?

Minimum wage job, plus time and a half after 40. Not much OT answering a phone at a nursing home. The residents all have smart phones with the latest apps.
