As we wallow in our sorrows, what was the most "UT" moment of the past decade?

Has #1 happened before or since to anyone else?

Those others are meh. #1 is a all-timer.

I can't decide on whether the "most UT" moments from the decade would be situations like in the OP where defeat was snatched from the jaws of victory, or one of the multitudes of just complete arse beatings that weren't even close after the 3rd quarter. Lots to choose from.

For anyone who doesn't remember. Georgia scored with like 5 seconds left to send to OT. UT drives and "scores" but upon review, he fumbled out of the endzone and then UGA kicks FG and Vols lose

I was there too

Fifth row on like the 30 yard line

It was so funny how we had to tell everyone in the parking lot and back at our tailgate that we actually won

The last gif had me confused. That wasn’t how I remembered the Grier to Callaway score at all. The last decade has been such a black hole for the Vols that my memories are collapsing in on themselves.

Letting a 400 lb nose tackle jump high enough to block the winning field goal against bama about 7-8 years ago should make honorable mention.

There are many to choose from, but at the end of the day losing a game that you already won has to be number one. I really don’t see how you could top that.

That game was one of the best games ive ever seen in person. I think i was a junior at the time. UT was playing out of their minds that day and Butch was coaching like a man on fire. For a second, it looked like we were right on the cusp of returning to greatness. I actually left that game with a sense of optimism. What a dumbass.

More like Daniel Lincoln trying to hit a line drive. A midget couldve blocked that. He already had gotten one blocked in the game because it was so low.

I graduated from UT 4 years ago and have been a fan since I was 12 or so.

Since we suck so much, I just find good humor in our team's failures.

The only answer is that Alvin Kamara was never utilized at UT. Alvin Freakin Kamara!
