it depends on the type of relationship they have.... i've got friends that I've known for a while, but I'm not about to hand them $2,500 because I'm a nice guy.

now I've lent friends some cash (probably more than I should have) who were in tight spots.

You must be very young.

The primary nuclear "defense" between the USA and the former Soviet Union was referred to as "MAD" which stood for "Mutally Assured Destruction".

In other words, both nations had so many nukes neither one would attack the other because it would assure the destruction of both countries.

Why? Because it's not what you want to hear? And as was stated in the article by SBB: If Woodruff had a preexisting relationship with the family as Peaches and Brent Calloway claim, he can pay off as many of their mortgages as he wants to - per NCAA rules.

You lose. I'm so sorry.

In other words, the REC and Little Nickie have finally perfected the art.

Does anyone know if PetroChem has a contract with UA for anything? This sounds like the scouting video BS. If Woodruff was getting paid way more than normal for whatever PetroChem does and in turn PetroChem was getting some of this money to players families then this could be a problem.

I probably should get my tinfoil hat out but its possible.

And you can't prove what type of relationship the two men were in. The NCAA does not have subpoena power and therefore can't look back through their entire history together.

Indeed they have. The REC and the Illuminati are one and the same.

Not really. Woodruff knew the family before Calloway was a star on the football field.

bullshite.

Calloway was a star in middle school. He transferred and STARTED AS A FRESHMAN.

Don't give me this bullshite like everybody didn't know this kid was a star. Now they may not have known he was going to be a one-of-the-best-in-the-country-level star, but it ain't hard to see the studs even at the middle school level. If they absolutely dominate the 8th graders as a 7th grader and 8th graders, they're likely going to continue to dominate as they all grow in high school.

This "nobody knew about Brent Calloway" line is just so much crap.

Unless the NCAA has another witness besides Jeff Lee who says Woodruff and Winston were engaged in activities that are against NCAA rules, nothing is going to come of this.

What's funny is that for how corrupt and well connected barners think Alabama is, you wonder why the frick they think Bama wouldn't just be able to get out of this.

I mean if we really are that crooked, what makes you think these weakass allegations of all things would be able to bring us down?

I can see the FBI showing up at my house now...."Son, we saw where you linked that SBB story on TigerDroppings.com. We're going to need you to come to our office, sir.

Actually only Aubs care. The entire fanbase of college football would like to see AU smoked. Whereas maybe UT & AU want Bama ensnared. When we lose in state big time athletes to the Gumps I can somewhat rationalize the thought process; However, our blue chip LA players committing to AU made no sense at all.

I hope any team caught cheating gets burnt including LSU but your team has taken it to the next level.

So was Brent Calloway a star athlete in 1991? Because that was when Winston and Woodruff became good friends. And, if I'm not mistaken, that means their friendship began a year or two before Calloway was even born.

Brent Calloway was adopted by Winston when he was young. That's when Woodruff met Calloway.

Also, from 247 sports:

I used to run titles for a living. It is not at all uncommon for banks to neglect to release mortgages that are paid off, sometimes for years, especially when it is just a raw payoff, as opposed to a refinance. In the latter case, the new mortgagee sees to it that the old mortgage is released; in the former, the borrower just assumes the bank will release the mortgage, but the responsibility for actually doing that usually falls to the lowest clerk or secretary in the bank.

In other words, the date the debt is paid in full and the date the bank signs the release is sometimes separated by many years. In one case I handled the bank had failed many years back and we had a devil of a time clearing the title.

Its the shitty bank's fault!

I would like to see some article that states it that way because from everything I've read Peaches didn't take in Calloway until he was a freshman in high school.
