re: As an LSU fan, why should I want Kiffin? Honestly, I don't.

I appreciate what Kiffin has done for us the last couple of years, but sometimes he will call plays in games that make me say wtf? Notably the OM, AU and tOSU games in '14, OM in '15. And WKU this year - why run a high risk play late in the game, deep in your own territory when the game is almost over?

He's almost a Doug Nussmeier with a more imaginative passing game.

Not me. I think he relies on superior talent as a crutch. Obviously, it would be stupid not to use your advantages.

But give Bama the #25 defense instead of the #1 defense.. and what is Bamas record during his time there?

Not to mention frequent defensive scores and a typically excellent return game giving him great field position

Bama doesn't win the natty last year without the job Kiffin did with Coker. Fact. They don't win the SEC the year before without the job Kiffin did with Sims. Fact.

Just because you say "fact" at the end of your sentence doesn't make it an actual fact. I think Kiffin has done a good job, but there's nothing saying we wouldn't have had another good OC if Kiffin hadn't been here. For example, in conference play, Bama averaged just as many or more points per game in 2012 and 2013 as Kiffin's offenses have. So, it's not like we're in some uncharted water with him calling plays.

Without the OL he has had, Kiffin is mediocre.

Which would be an improvement over CamLes, but still DON'T WANT.

No, I'm comparing offenses.

We definitely need a better OC. Kiffin would be an upgrade. I'm just not sure that he is the best we can get.

But would it be a bad hire, like you said about 20 times in the thread from TD that was linked earlier in this thread?

and that is what Saban is always chewing him out about.

How do you know that's what Sabin is chewing him out about.

Kiffin seems to be only successful in a controlled environment...under Saban...I'm scared of Orgeron just letting him do what he wants. Everything Saban does works, bringing in Kiffin..but on a leash. I also don't like his character issues. I just don't think he'd be as successful under Orgeron.

No one ever accused Sims and Coker of being NFL talent.

I don't think it was Sims and Coker that the other poster was talking about. It might be the other 30 + players that they can rotate in and out without missing a beat on both sides of the ball.

I consider Kiffin to LSU, if it does happen, to be a high risk, high reward situation. It will be very very good or very very bad.

I don't think he's that great, but obviously he's done well with Bama.

The vast majority of that criticism was completely warranted, and you know it.

And don't ever use "fabulous" when talking about football again you fairy.

1. No more toss-dive.
2. He's better than 40% of the current OCs

I don't want him either. Never did! Still think he's an immature loser with no class!

His wife finally came to reality and dumped his stupid arse! Smart woman!
