Watched my first Aggie Baseball game at Blue Bell park.
Great atmosphere, great pitching performance, and incredible Aggie spirit.
I am now pulling for you guys to win it all this year. I fear a bit of maroon is seeping into my purple and gold bloodstream.

This is why the rivalry is so heated between your fan bases. I bet almost all of you LSU alums live by or work with an Aggie alum. How many of you LSU alums live in east Texas? I bet the stores down there are stocked with LSU and Aggie gear split down the middle. Texas A&M joining the SEC finally gave LSU the rival they needed in terms of geography and similar culture. It reminds me a lot of our rivalry with Kansas to be honest.
I think things are really going to heat up when A&M beats LSU in football.

Houston actually has a sports radio station as dedicated to LSU sports (am 1560) as any Texas University.
The East Texas Tiger contingent is HUGE!!!

You are right about lack of LSU gear, but Granato and the GOW media group is sure on LSU's jock an awful lot.
