I am not implying anything other than the field fricking sucks and a few Tennessee fans on this board are trying everything under the sun to say that it doesn't and that it's not much different than any other field

I can't control those fans, just like u can't control William Taylor or Tuscaloosa, why don't you go ahead and tell me legitimately what you think would make our ballpark a good spot to play in without any hate from losing game one...just tell me. Is it just grass? I feel like our athletic department would much rather us just have grass there then invest in turf?

Fielding on turf is different for infielders. Sliding on a turf infield is different for runners. Batting on a turf batter's box is different than dirt. A smaller outfield is much different than a deep one and the Vols players are used to all of that while other teams are not.

Tennessee's baseball field is a true POS. The place where every deep fly ball turns into a homer.”

Ummm did you actually mean any lazy pop up becomes a home run….
