does anyone actually believe this?

I see JR Ball is no smarter now than when he wrote for the student newspaper. This is apples and oranges. One is an NCAA infraction. One is criminal infraction.
If Sumlin had the ultimate authority to play Manziel or not, then it would be a fit comparison. He does not. The NCAA does.
If the NCAA had the ultimate authority to play Hill, then it would be a fit comparison. They do not. Miles does.

its nice to see no-name writers try make a name by calling out a situation easy to call out.
It's easy to throw dirt at things, its harder to understand the subtler details, gain perspective and become a true writer.
Bottom line, Miles runs a good clean program as evidenced by him throwing out players before and most of our players not being thugs. We trust the coach on this one, he's earned it.

I'm pretty sure he's been covering LSU for decades

Is that perspective to agree with everything LSU 110% of the time without voicing a dissenting opinion?

Bottom line, Miles runs a dirty program as evidenced by him allowing a QB who stomped out a marine back and most of our players being thugs. We trust the coach to allow the team to decide the punishment, he's earned it.

An Alabama fan criticizing Miles for running a dirty program?

At Alabama the coach handles the punishment and when a player beats the hell out of a fellow student he no longer is a member of the team

Jeremy Hill...to me was was not that impressive. He had good runs but was not really that special

I love that people keep comparing Jeremy Hill to Aaron Hernandez
If getting into a bar fight is an early sign of being a murderer, I'm never going to Tigerland again

He hit the guy once, and it was his first run-in at LSU. I could care less about what they do to him, cause it was classless, but just keep the facts straight...

How many failed drug tests did it take to get Tyrann Mathieu kicked off?

Trent Richardson was never impressive either.

absolutely agree.
Yep, sweeps everything under the rug like kicking Perilloux a star in the making off the team and setting the program back 2 years with awful qb play or kicking a heisman finalist off the team. Yep, kicking 2 of the better players off the team sure is sweeping everything under the rug.
Do folks really beilieve LSU couldn't survive without Hill? Please.

I'm glad there's a few people in Louisiana that know what's up, and aren't happy with Les Miles constantly sweeping things under the rug.
Nothing will change, but it's encouraging that there's a few decent people in the media down there.
