Not sure what this writer means by spending on students??

2012-2013 in state tuition:

$5,656 - Florida
$10,037 - Ohio St.

I am thinking OSU should be spending twice what UF spends per student.

UF athletic dept gave 50 Million back to the university over a 20 year period from 1990-2010.

He is using broad numbers and making appear in a way to support his point. Comes back to you can make a statistic up to support any opinion.

tOSU also has larger class sizes than most SEC programs, which would suggest that they spend less money on each student

Everyone should be familiar with this tactic, most stat threads are this way.

Just read it and the comments, they are butthurt. They are very elitist, which in the end is their downfall and the decline of the states the represent the Big 10+1+1+1+1.

One more excuse why they are not at the top of college football despite buying players and hiring mercenary coaches just as blatantly, if not moreso, than any of the programs they accuse.

Thank God I'm not an tOSU fan. Pathetic.
