He won't be be beloved for long IMO....Honestly no offense meant to arkansas as a program, but I see disaster written all over his Arkansas tenure.

Maybe I'm wrong, but year1 certainly has him right on course.

I know there was a lot more to the story at Wisconsin and his relationships there, but I am still puzzled why he ever made that move.

All that said, many people - including myself - thought les miles would be a disaster at LSU, and the opposite happened, so I guess ya never know.

I think he will pretty quickly get them back into 7 or 8 win per season category and the Arkansas fans will love him for it. Then he risks landing in Mullen territory where he can't get over the hump and fans grow restless with just 7 or 8 wins.

Time will tell. Arky fans are right not to give up on him yet.

I agree, They definitely should not give up on him yet.... But he desperately needs 5 to 8 wins this year to at least give them some hope. Another 3-4 win season this year and you can go ahead and pencil them in for a coaching change after 2015 season.

And not that I necessarily think he would take it, but Target#1 after BB will be Malzahn IMO, unless he's already taken the Florida job by then.

I was assuming this to be that he picked Ponderosa over Golden Corral for dinner.

If Malzahn is having success at Auburn, I doubt he goes to Arkansas to rebuild. If he isn't having success at Auburn, I doubt Arky wants him.

I think the ship had sailed on Malzahn to Arky unless maybe Malzahn gets an NFL opportunity in a few years, doesn't do well and is looking to get back to the college game.

That's almost as long as Berts grocery list. No one is reading all that.

just because it worked in the b10, doesn't mean it'll work in the SEC... arkansas is in for another year of disappointment I feel

this is the obvious retort to this article and thread. succinct, well thought out and well, kinda warm and fuzzy.

If Bert ate more game, he wouldn't be so fricking obese.
