Pittman's one of the best in the biz hope we can keep him out of the NFL after this upcoming season.

He will probably be looking for a job after your entire staff is let go
Or if Bert eats him
Because Berts fat

I'm so glad we don't have to claim accomplishments from another school.

I don't think Pittman will leave for the NFL. He was pretty adamant about being close to home this late in his career and this job gives him that.
By far the best OL coach we've ever had. Hopefully we do whatever it takes to keep him.

He's a good recruiter as well correct? He does a great job from what I have seen.

Please do not count UT's 2 OL. They signed with UT in 2010 and Pittman only coached them for 1 year in 2012.

Yeah. Definitely the best recruiter on our staff. He's brought in a plethora of talent in the 16 months that he's been here. We could possibly be starting four of his guys already this year.

Right, that's what he said.

Wait is this thread taking credit for some OL's drafted out of a prior school he coached at?
Come on Cheshire I expect that from some of your fellow fans but not you?...I still think he is a good coach but come on man. Or did 4 OL that he developed get drafted?

Hell I don't know what this thread is referencing honestly. The only two I know of that he coached that got drafted are Travis Swanson and the James kid out of Tennessee.
I'm just basing my statements off the DRASTIC turnaround he has done with our OL in just one season. Statistically we had the fourth best OL last season starting two true FR and a walk on LT when we were probably around the 12th ranked OL the prior season. Couple that with all the recruits he is bringing in and I'm comfortable saying we'll have one of the better OL's in the SEC over the coming years.
That's all I'm stating.
Although I have zero problem with any coach taking credit of the development of players that they coached at previous schools that went on to be drafted.

If they have a legit claim I don't either.
I also agree your lineman play a tough and gritty style of football. I was impressed with the younger OL that I saw play against us. I believe you get solid QB play and add some receivers to your TE, and Arky will be a highly competitive team.

We seem to be upgrading at WR this year. I think three of our top 5 receivers will be new to the team (2 true FR and a JUCO). Two of them are already on campus and looked great in the spring game.
It's the QB play that I don't have confidence in. Four 4* QB's on campus and none of them standout right now. Someone is going to have to step up if we want to move forward.

Such profundity in your post. No doubt it taxed your limited capabilities to the max.

I can't wait to see Gus the Pius take Bret Bielema to school again this year.

James, Swanson, the G from Tenner's and the C from UNC is who I'm counting.

As did Jackson Jeffcoat, Freak Johnson, and Seantrel Henderson was a 7th rounder and nearly missed getting drafted too.
Those recruiting stars matter damnit!
