A good play? Yes, but nothing great. Play of the year? LOL!!! It was a game that meant nothing vs a young, overrated KY team.

The only other one I can remember really like that was Josh Smith against I think the Magic who basically did the same thing
Either way, that is easily the play of the year so far and I don't see much, if anything, topping that. Great back and forth game.

When I saw the clip I only got excited because KY lost and I hate Calipari. But the play was just OK. It was an uncontested follow-up dunk by unranked Arkansas at home vs an NCAA 5 seed at best at this point. Nothing spectacular and certainly not difficult for a D1 player. Off-balance, contested 3s at the buzzer are much more difficult and impressive.

It was a good game but at the end of the day the end result and outcome was meaningless. Play of the year has to have some relevance and this one does not.

Do you not remember the Indiana buzzer beater over Kentucky they played on ESPN constantly 2 years ago, it was a meaningless mid-december game. I can see this playing out very similarly.
