and the comments you used as your hook were made months ago. You should know this, don't you have them logged in your AR-Kansas binder?

I believe he has accomplished his stated goal from a couple of years ago :

“I can tell you this,” says coach Bret Bielema. “We don’t want to be like the SEC—in any way, shape or form.”

Congrats Coach, you accomplished that in year one.

How educated was this statement? Was this his proof? (From Same Article), his own AD said Bert could have made his point better, so Bert, please show us a study, etc. instead of resorting to hyperbole.

But those beatings were partly self-inflicted, as well, when Bielema said his evidence that fast-paced football led to more injuries was "death certificates," and referred to the then-recent death of Cal player Ted Agu during an offseason workout, drawing a rebuke from Cal athletic director Sandy Barbour.

Bielema issued a statement expressing remorse. He says his regret is "any misconstrued agenda. I was speaking strictly on behalf of player safety."

He's like Spurrier, except enormously fat, not funny and has no redeeming coaching skills.

I guess you're too stupid to realize he means educated on the subject (whether you agree or not) not unschooled.

Arkansas was 3-9 last season, Bielema's first, and winless in the Southeastern Conference. Bielema chuckled, sure, but he wasn't joking when he said, back at the SEC's spring meetings: "Hopefully, Year 2 is better than Year 1."

It could hardly be worse. And yet, the head Hog seems, well, happy. Don't misunderstand; he's also hungry. But he appears wholly unaffected by the events of last season – or last offseason. Which is only to say, Bielema might be irrepressible. Arkansas athletic director Jeff Long calls it "an indomitable spirit."
