Honestly, a 3. LSU at night is no where near the same as a cold wet night in Fayetteville. Hogs have no answer for LF.

Lets cut to the chase here shall we?

1: Hey diddle diddle here it comes up the middle is what Bert lives to defend against.

2: Arkansas sucks diseased moose wang when it comes to pass defense. A poor pass rush and a putrid secondary.

So, we match up well with LSU.

If the Bunghole Tigers can throw the ball, well then we need Brandon Allen to just go hog wild throwing the ball or we will lose. Nothing fancy about this game.

I think, at home, LSU wins. But if they can't throw the ball against our woeful secondary... We win pulling away.

I don't believe LSUs defense is as strong as they seem to think, Arkansas will score points. It all comes down to the Arkansas secondary imo

Arkansas has the ability to shut down the LSU off3nse, I don't think we can say the same about the LSU defense

That being said, I'm about a 7, if this game was in Arkansas, LSU wouldn't stand a chance

If LSU comes out with a good mix of passing/rushing arky has a 40% chance of winning imo. If LSU goes 80/85% rush it will be a tossup. Pretty sure Bert's going to use the same offensive plan as the OM game. Hopefully it's an entertaining game with no injuries.

Unlike years past LSU's front 7 is not getting a lot of penetration. That has my hopes up for this game. Once we get the run game clicking it could be hard for LSU to keep up.

I don't think we can shut them down but we can force them to do more than just run Fournette. Our d-line depth will pay off for this game.

Heart says 10.
Head says 3.5 - 4. At LSU in a night game. No ideal circumstances. Especially with the mood they're probably in.

A 3 sounds about right. I think that's the best any SEC team should expect in a conference road game.

For example, after LSU loses in Oxford, it'll be 1-2 in SEC road games. Arkansas is currently sitting at 2-1, so we've already bettered that.

I see us stalling a lot on offense but pulling out a close one possession victory. We haven't lost to an unranked team at home in ages. Maybe MSU was unranked at the time last year, but they were legitimate contenders and just had TS host their coming out party. Arkansas doesn't win as frequently in TS as others teams do also. In Arkansas you guys might even be favorites again in this one, but I like our chances in Tiger Stadium, especially at night.

Keep perfecting the 4th and 25 lateral play and they will be in great shape.

On paper, LSU looks to be the winner. But sometimes LSU is a paper tiger.

I think they are more beat up and mentally deflated from getting raped last week than is being told.

In contrast we are coming in confident and clicking, at least on offense. I bet the defense got some serious attention this week as well.

I look for a good, hard fought game. How I feel about the Hogs chances? I feel pretty good about the chances - I'd say a 6.

No you didn't. And even if you did, you know you didn't believe them. You only have one Super Bowl, and it is, was and always will be LSU.

I said previously that I was more worried about this game than the Alabama game. That was not because I think Arkansas is a better team than Alabama (they are not). What happened last Saturday was worst case scenario. LSU got crushed and will have a hurt ego. The fans will likely be quick to turn on them if the offense stalls. Arkansas on the other hand had a huge win and is going to be coming into this game soaring. There is no way they look across the sidelines and don't think they match up great against LSU.

Arkansas has always had underrated players (probably because they play at Arkansas), and LSU has lost to Arkansas in games they had no business losing.

But, I don't think the Alabama game revealed how good (or bad depending on how you look at it) LSU is. That was a case of one team playing absolutely perfect and being designed to beat the other team. Alabama has built a team designed to beat LSU, which also does a great job of beating everyone else as well. LSU has built a team, well, I don't know what the hell Les is trying to build.

With that said, I think LSU wins. I think LSU will come in pissed and looking to prove they are the team that everyone thought they were before Bama. But I sure as hell am not as confident as I was before last week.
