The worst of John Chavis

Good luck with your 3rd downs and 2-minute defense.

Chavis will do a good job with Arkansas, like he did at Tennessee and LSU. The gay culture at A&M is to blame for his shortcomings there.

Not many have the ability to lose to a 4-7 Memphis team with Peyton Manning on their side. Chief found a way.

Oh crap...I just realized with the Arkansas obsession combined with the Chavis obsession....LSU fans will be almost unbearable now.

They will be like Wayne's ex-girlfriend in Wayne's World....completely mental.

I want no part of him and I sincerely hope this is only a rumor. He's also sucked at A & M for the better part of two years.

You guys truly don't understand. Even with all his faults, Chavis will still be the best defensive coordinator we've had in years

Let's not pretend like Arkansas fans didn't pull this same move with Chaney going to UGA

Maybe Tenn should have scored more than 17 with Peyton.

But that was only Chaney obsession....this will combine with their already Arkansas obsession......maybe exponentially!

This could bring on the apocalypse of the SEC Rant.

It’s bizarre. Get used to these kinds of threads all the time

I think he’ll be an upgrade for you. He certainly has his faults, but he improved our defense (though not to where we wanted it). I blame the style of practice and culture of our program under Sumlin for our defensive shortcomings under Chief as much as Chief himself

Look forward to Chavis shutting down Ensminger's offense.

Do not want John Chavis, but I'll take it. LSU was 7-1 before the game, eventually going 10-3 on the year. The responsibility for failures like this ultimately rest with the head coach. I think Bielema hamstrung every DC we had at Arkansas while he was here, and I suspect Miles did the same with Chavis.

The arky fans will think the same thing Aggie fans thought. That Chavis would bring the LSU talent with him.

The final score of that game was 21-17. Looks like that loss is more on Peyton than Chavis.

Shouldn't this thread be moved to the Tiger Rant board?
