Is it Pittman or Anderson fault about the o line struggles?
Why do you have 0 speed at line backer?
Why do you guys struggle against running qb and what will be done to adjust?

Maybe A&M actually has a good defense this year?

We have always struggled to recruit really good LBS
We have some now they are just freshmen
Pittman didn't recruit the last 2 seasons he was here, once Chaney got asked to leave I don't think he was that motivated. Those 2 have a weird bro-mance going on
Everyone struggles with a running QB, it's a numbers thing. Gets an extra blocker and it's tough to stop

In reality probably a bit of both but for Pittman to be here that long and we only have 3 of 5 O-line starters as his recruits is telling.

As much as I agree that Pittman didn't recruit very well, Bert needs to shoulder that blame. He is the boss. That being said, we're close to being where we need to be. It was never going to be a quick turnaround for us. Way too many holes to patch.

Lack of recruiting. We sign 2-3 stars and the war cry is we will coach them up. Look at the last couple years classes. Most of our kids don't have offers from a team in the top 50-75. Lots of directional school offers. Marginal coaching with inferior recruiting and you have a 6-7 win team and coach

You don't believe ya'll should be a legit contender in year 4 of a coaching change? I am not saying you should or could, but I would expect it.
Maybe the sealing is 8 wins and making some noise against a true contender each year.

It's not as easy at arkansas as it is at Auburn. This has been discussed ad nauseum, and it's true

I actually think we've done a good job turning the defense around. When Smile was our interim, there wasn't a team in the SEC that would have traded defenses with us. We're not so bad now.
Our staff dropped the ball the last few seasons recruiting OL. No way around that and definitely no quick fix. Enos will have to adapt hs playcalling to help the OL.

Your a the state name school smack dab in the middle of Texas, Florida and the big Northern cities. How is it harder at Arkansas than Auburn? We are named after a city and recruits against Alabama in state and Georgia to the East.
Agree with your post about holding your own, but Petrino proved you could win better than ya'll settle for...

Um this is not even close to accurate. While we don't recruit as well as the top half of the sec most of our recruits have offers from power 5 schools since Bret has been here. Please provide a link to a few players that saw the field without multiple power 5 offers.

But last night if we had played a prototypical clean no penalties Bielema game, we beat A&M. But the game became an outlier in the data with how messy and penalty riddled it was.

I am not trying to troll. As stated, I believe ya'll make some noise with what you have. However, do you believe you change a 45-21 score or whatever it was merely by playing cleaner? Seems a bit naive.
