Don't think we will lead the SEC or anything, but everyone else is so down on our rushing attack despite having maybe the best C in the country, two 4* guards, a run blocking beast of a FB, and a 4* and 5* RB for bielema to play with. We should at least be in the upper half of the SEC

Yeldon, Gurley, Blue/Hill(iard), and the soon to be well known Matt Jones (NOT of AR).
LSU has been nowhere near the top of the national rushing stats in over a decade.

You mean all the players that were recruited for a spread offense are gonna make the #1 rushing attack in college football? Your QB poses no threat to the SEC and everyone will stack the boxes.

I agree with this, if you mean the fans will be rushing out of the Donny Reynolds every Saturday around halfway through the 3rd quarter....

Because no one stacked the boxes ever against Wisconsin....ever.

Yeah that vaunted Ole Miss defense is really scary

We have a DL and LB corps that will stand up to anyone in the league.

And it was plenty enough to beat your arse on the road last year.

So GFY.

SEC team rushing

With the exception of 1 yr (2009) LSU has been in the top half of the SEC in rushing offense the last 5 years.

With the exception of 1 yr AR has been in the bottom half of rushing offense for the last 5 years.

eta: interesting how you ignored all the others.

Yeah. Especially since Auburn has had about 3 times as many as Arkansas. Where was he last year when you were last in the SEC in rushing?

As far as all the BB doing great at recruiting it still matters how you compare to the teams you play. Arkansas was in the bottom 3 in the SEC last year and bottom 3 this year in recruiting.

in the last ten years no other SEC team has had as many 1,000 yard rushing seasons as Arkansas

Congrats. Wisconsin has been in the top 15 in rushing nationally 8 times in the last decade.

Lets say hypothetically that Arkansas does lead the SEC in rushing yards. Where do you see them finishing in terms of yards per carry? I expect them to be in the top half in rushing but the bottom 5 in YPC. There only chance to go .500 is to make the game painfully slow and "Big 10ish". I do think Arkansas will lead the league in rush attempts based purely on philosophy more than absolute success doing it.

I'm talking about the players recruited by Petrino, those WRs and OL aren't accustomed to the power running game.

don't recall Wisky's OL transferring with BB. Also didn't see BB hire Nutt as OC and bring back D-Mac either.

I see the correlation. Not really.

add it to the trophy case:
1 2013 pre-season rushing title to go with the 5 spring Natty's.

That was the problem Auburn ran into last year. Trying to run over people with Gus's offensive style players. They will learn.

Wisconsin's talent > Arksansas's talent +
SEC Defenses > BIG Defenses
somehow = Arkansas Rushing > SEC's Defenses

You're right. Wisky has been using the same offensive line since 2003.
