No way to give an accurate answer until after the draft. If Henry and Collins stay (50/50 shot based on who I know) it's gonna be high. Kirkland is 99% going but if he and Skipper (probably gonna stay) both stay it's gonna be some high expectation. Deatrich Wise should stay too, despite being a backup he's a better NFL prospect than most people will expect, heard scouts are pretty high on him.

If we can keep our assistants, we could go 10-2 with a chance for more. Our schedule sets up very nicely to make a run.

Bama, LSU, Ole Miss and Florida in Fayetteville.

SEC road games: Auburn, State, Mizzou.

Only big non-con game is @TCU in week 2. They lose a ton so we could steal one early in the season.

His backup is former 5* USC transfer Ricky Town.

He isn't eligible his year but he will be starting over Austin next year. Dude is putting in work right now that will pay off for next year.

Not sold on Ricky yet. I think AA has a good shot.

IF AA wants any chance of starting he better start showing up at workouts with RT when he is throwing passes to our receiving corps with Ryan Mallet.

Definitely our best home slate in a long time.

JMHO, I think we take a little step back, or at best, hold even.

Offensively: Will have a new starting QB, with little (Austin Allen) to no game experience (Ty Storey, Rafe Peavey, Ricky Town.)

Running back: If Collins declares as we all expect, if Rawleigh Williams decides to forego football following his neck injury, if we don't sign one or two of our top RB targets - our running game will be a huge question mark.

OL - if Kirkland decides to declare along with losing Tretola, the OL will be having to break in some youngsters. New center (Rogers).

TE/WR: Probably have to replace Henry, but we have some good young talent there - still you don't just replace a Henry overnight. Sprinkle will be the primary until youngsters get their feet on the ground. Wide receiver is the only spot that looks solid at the moment.

Overall, it will be a growing process offensively.

Defense, expect (hope!) for it to be a little better. Linebacker depth can only improve. Hopefully safeties will improve with the extra year's experience. Hoping for better play from the DB's as well.

Schedule is much more favorable than this season's - Alabama, LSU, Ole Miss all come to Fayetteville.

Based on the unknowns offensively, I'm saying 6 regular season wins. If it all gels quickly, maybe 7 or max 8.

I'd say in the 6-6 to 8-4 range mostly.

Figure 3-1 non-conference, possibly 4-0 if we gel quickly at QB.

Likely conference losses are Alabama, Mississippi.

Likely conference wins are Auburn, Missouri

Figure 4-4 as a solid conference expectation.

It could be worse, could be better. A lot will be determined by who stays and who goes both at our school and others.

He needs 9 wins at least. We've been a few plays from 10 wins for the past 2 years. Bert needs the team ready to play real football by game 1 instead of November. No more stupid losses early.

A bit too much uncertainty for me to make a call this far out from the season. If some of our major players return and we don't get hit by the injury bug 10 wins and contend for the West. If they leave and the replacements aren't ready right off the bat then we are going to need another late season Bert miracle run to make it to a bowl.

I like Arkansas. They won me some money. I knew they couldn't win the west this year.

You are right, we couldn't... but the only thing that REALLY made it unlikely was Alabama. The other losses (aTm, MSU) we could have just as easily won as lost.
