re: Arkansas success in the SEC

What's with arkansas bein all up in the auburn skull dome. This is a response thread but it seems like it's a response thread from a week of back and fourth. Some espn guy said you guys are ranked 3rd or whatever, preseason, and you get all ballsy. Lol, you're pickin on us cuz your nervous. Seems obvious. We don't even play ya'll til midseason, right?..... Go troll petrino. I didn't know you play him first til just now... If I put money on that one it's definitely going to Louisville. Petrino's bitch arse is gonna wax that bitch arse.

Because Arkansas is just a average SEC program at best . There record , recruiting ranking and draft prove it. Atleast they make things interesting with there Homer thoughts.

In a way the Auburn fascination with Arkansas is sort of sad. They'd really like to talk trash to Bama but the Tide fans can point to the fairly one sided nature of their rivalry and the fact that the entire country sees Auburn as a second class program in their own state.

So, desperate to not feel like the red headed stepchildren they are, they start a thread touting their glowing record against the Hogs... where they have won exactly two games more then us. This, mind you, coming off a three year hitting bottom and rebuilding stretch for the Razorbacks as we had held the lead in the series prior to our downfall.

Still, given that it is Auburn, this is the best they can do. We owe it to them, as kind neighbors, to make them feel like they aren't the unloved and unwanted b@st@rds of their own state. So, good job Auburn. No one can deny that when it comes to being the second best in your own state that you guys are right up there with the very best second best schools in college football.

Not sure if this is a troll, but there is some truth to this. Losing Texas recruits killed FB and damned sure didn't help BKB either. The SEC move killed us. We weren't prepared to actually compete when we switched. Broyles' choices of FB coaches were suspect as well

I love the SEC; have for years. But the move knocked us out, and I haven't seen us totally recover yet. The TAMU experience may end up better for them, even though Arkansas and TAMU are fairly comparable programs all-time. They have recruited brilliantly since their move and in my opinion were much better prepared to spend the bucks to compete in the SEC.

We appear to be slowly rebuilding our recruiting too. So we could end up finally winning something under Bert

They are a fan base who loves to win the off-season and recruiting "battles", but at the same time can not admit they were ever wrong about these "victories".
