Tennessee just doesn’t have a complete enough team to do it. 3.5 starters is not enough pitching.

Vandy lost to Arkansas in the SEC Tournament 6-4 because Kumar lost his poise and walked several players. Without that breakdown, game would have been dead even. Arkansas has a very good team, no question. But to suggest the title is in the bag is delusional. And if the Hogs do win it, I hope the fan base is classy about it.

You could say that for any team, any game. X team lost because Y player had a bad game. That’s how it goes.

If Arkansas doesn’t win the whole thing this year it will be a huge let down. Super talented team with veterans coming back after the Covid-Stricken 2020 season. Easily the most impressive team in baseball this season. With how good they’ve looked all year it would be a massive disappointment if they don’t win it all.
