And Holtz was a much better coach at Arkansas, then he ever was at South Carolina.

Not really. His overall record didn't finish all that good, especially because of that 0-11 start. But he breathed life into a near dead program and laid the foundation for Spurrier which has clearly paid off.

Well done. Arky is crawling all over this thread with their jimmies seriously rustled.

10/10 jimmies have been rustled by this thread.

No, I agree with you. The problem is that he was past his prime and his game was dated at South Carolina.

At Arkansas, his teams were good, but all the cheating around Arkansas took it's toll on recruiting. The big criticism of him was that he couldn't recruit, but most of the SWC and Oklahoma schools were cheating big time in the areas where we recruited.

Do any of the Pig-statisticians here know if in the other 3 times in their history that the Razorbacks were in the Top 5 if they were also 3rd in their Division that year?

Decline in full effect.

Bobby was definitely the greatest coach of the last 20 years for Arkysaw and all he did was cement the decline. Who gives a shite about the SWC.

They can't hang with the Big Six.

You're own graph shows that we're rising and you say we're in decline?

I take pride in the fact that the "bottom of the trough" was a 9-3 season, which included a victory over LSU.

Also glad to see that Crow Pie doesn't consider national titles to be THE gauge on judging football coaches or their teams.

Unfortunately, Arky doesn't have any titles to judge or I would have included them in the analysis.

We won a title in '65, right after losing to LSU. Oh wait... they only do that when it's the other way around, like '07. I forgot that we didn't lose enough games in '65 for a title.

Nope.

You've plateaued at a level far below Peak Hog.

60% on average is all Arky is good for in the SEC.

Irrefutable, indisputable evidence.

Decline acknowledgement and Super Bowl fixation noted.
