...well maybe one day.

LINK /

TUSK IV

It was a sad day when Razorback mascot Tusk II passed away of natural causes at his home in Dardanelle, Arkansas back in January.

But as they say in sports, and show-business, and in other types of businesses, “The show must go on.”

Tusk II’s brother Tusk III will take over in the fall, but one of these days, the little piglet who visited the Unviersity of Arkansas campus today will be the king of Hogmerica.

According to ArkansasRazorbacks.com, Baby Tusk (who is expected to become Tusk IV someday) was in town on a tour of the University of Arkansas facilities, hanging out at Barnhill Arena, the Razorback Foundation, and the Broyles Center today, showing off his ability to walk on a leash, and sit on command for apples.

It will be a while before Baby Tusk takes over as Razorback mascot, and maybe it takes a Razorback fan to think so, but he’s pretty freakin’ adorable.

See for yourself.

In an ugly sort of way.

If Arky gets to put their mascot on a leash, LSU should be able to too.

I remember when we played Arky they had a rost hog for everyone to eat up in the old West Side Stadium Club back in the late 90's-early 00's. They had the head on a platter with the apple in it's mouth and all. That shite was good

It is going to be so awesome when they try to run him on the field, he breaks free of the handlers, and the cop with the afro has to gun him down to save all the blue-hairs sitting in the first 15 rows of the 50 yard line.

This has great idea written all over it.

Ill be shocked if Tusk ever makes it on the field outside of a cage. That hog could do serious damage should it get spooked. It would give Mike a run for its money, but then likely turn into his dinner.
