Well you should probably clarify next time. Those passes were dumb. Including the fourth down fullback pass against Bama.

Never happened
It did against Clemson.... :
From Auburn 247:
quote:
Auburn played five different players at quarterback, including H-back Chandler Cox and tailback Kerryon Johnson, while the defense shut down Clemson and Deshaun Watson for most of the game. The resulting 19-13 loss will frustrate fans, and most of that disdain will be focused on head coach Gus Malzahn, who is labeled as an offensive guru and yet has struggled to piece together a formidable offense in the red zone over the last two seasons.

I will. I should have known better than to think you'd understand something so obvious without being spoon fed the details like a grade schooler

Agreed that calling that formation on 4th in the iron bowl was dumb. But that wasn't a designed pass. The actual pass was improvisation by Cox after the poor play called broke down.
The other 4 that were completed were designed and obviously worked because they were completed so idk what is dumb about positive plays.

Do you honestly expect anybody to actually believe that even a single Arkansas fan would stop supporting the Razorbacks if Malzahn was HC, let alone "90% of the fanbase head to Arkansas State"?
As much as auburn fans believe otherwise, if Bert and Gustav were both fired today Gustav would not even get a phone call from Jeff. DWI.

Well, we were talking about the Clemson game..Keep up.

The four passes netted a grand total of eight yards and the one incompletion was an INT. You're embarrassing fellow Auburn fans at this point...

Malzahn is not all that. He will be booted soon if Auburn don't win.

Every sports coach will get booted if their team doesn't win.
Great analysis, Einstein. ESPN will surely be offering you a job real soon.
Maybe Malzahn should give the LSU coach a call to consult on the matter. Orgeron knows a good deal about not winning and getting fired.

Malzahn all these years later is still struggling to find a HS QB that can throw the ball accurately while being athletic. He's relied on JUCOs and transfers the entire time.
With all the built in advantages Auburn has in recruiting, this is by far the most puzzling to watch.

They would sacrifice their first born to make that trade right now. Some will admit it, but most will overcompensate their denial by talking stupid amounts of shite. Their shite talking of Malzahn was made worse by the 56-3 curbstomping last year, so now they're fuming over their perceived betrayal by their prodigal son. But don't let them fool you, their tune would change real fast if they were ever able to hire him. Any of them who say otherwise are full of shite
You are the one full of shite- anyone who reads this board knows you're a horrible poster. Didn't want then, don't want now, wouldn't want after getting canned from aub either.

I love that this continues
It's just amazing

But over the last three years Gus has had one more win then Bert! Who wouldn't want the massive headaches hiring him would cause for winning 1/3rd more of a game a season?
Unless this is another magic horseshoe up his behind year this will go the same way the last three years went. They'll talk about how jealous we are that they have Malzahn and then, after that first or second loss, they'll start baying for good ole Gus Malzahn's blood.
We can explain, in excruciating detail, why we don't want and won't take Gus but they will never believe it.

Pathetic hawgs just can't resist bringing up LSU fans in a thread that has nothing to do with us. Sad!

Sounds like LSU with home state recruits that leave and are successful, except with Arky you're at least talking about adults.

He's got enough of a following here that he might be in the mix if something opened up. Just depends on the circumstances at that time.

No. Maybe in 20 years, no way in hell now. I mean why go from one sucky coach to another known sucky coach especially with the baggage?

Oh BowlJackson is crazy as a mofo but on that post he was quite accurate.
