Duke seems to be doing just fine with freshman.

If Kentucky had someone that could coach they would as well.

We will have several upperclassman on the team.

It’s not gonna be all freshman.

They may even be able to beat Alabama next season

Means nothing, literally.

Alabama beat Arkansas in Tuscaloosa the year we won the title. So what was more important? One game upset or a tourney run?

I think the key to this class is who returns, we're not relying soley on 5 true freshmen. We've got several seasoned Juniors like Jwill and Devo. heck Notae could come back. We'll see but I'd rather have them than not for sure.

Mercer, Lehigh, etc. Had three of the top 4-5 picks and didn’t make the final four with Zion. Don’t be like the mainstream media and act like K is some perfect coach with no failures

My only point earlier about a majority of freshmen not being all they’re cracked up to be, is that expectations are usually way to high for them from fanbases at the start

Nick Smith looks to be ready. Not so sure on Black. He may have an adjustment, but the talent is there.

Looks like all but Walsh will need to fill out a little bit.

I understood you. We think Muss will do a good job of coaching them. He's still hungry.

Cal is a great recruiter, but he doesn't seem to put in the effort coaching that he did years ago.

Muss has a chip on his shoulder and mad after the loss to Duke.

From experience, better hope these freshman are college ready. Seems more and more freshmen that come in are rated highly bc they are physically superior in hs but lack the skill that you need in college.

Muss is a better player developer than Cal. I’m guessing even most UK fans would concede as much

Muss's coaching with talent will be scary. We really need Toney to come back to have an experienced lock down defender. If Jwill stays also, we will be very hard to deal with by January.

I get what you are saying but we won’t be relying on all freshman.

We will have 2-3 juniors and Muss will get 2 upperclassman transfers like he does every year

Do we have a somewhat firm list of who we will return from the current roster? JayWill for example?

Can’t speak about Muss but I think Cal is a great player developer. Look at guys like Quickley, Nick Richards, Pj Washington, Willie Cauley Stein, etc who went from getting bench time to All-American, All-SEC honors.

But I didn’t mean for this to lead to this conversation. Congrats on the commits. SEC will be fun to watch next year again
