NIU, Texas Tech, State, Nichols State, UAB
And Texas Tech definitely shouldn't be counted as a sure win at this point.

3 out of Ole Miss, Missouri, A&M, Georgia, and LSU

Auburn and Alabama, little to no shot, IMO.
We always have a shot at Auburn fricknut.
No way the miracle repeats itself next year.

What's the overall series record? The last 5 games? Hmm?
Texas Tech 32 wins

Nothing to brag about
Texas Tech is 7-4 the last 11 versus aTm

The last 11? A random number to make it seem competitive. We own the series record.

With one of the worst teams in our history we took them to OT. Moral victory I know, but still

They're not a sure win, but I really doubt they'll be able to stop our running game

Texas Tech leads 23-20 since 1970
Aggy isn't good

And we'll never agree to play them again, so looks like we own the series record for good.

Same with Texas...
Ya'll scared?

Moved on. To a tougher conference. Not scared.

Mississippi State is a better football team than Arkansas, IYAM.

i understand we all like giving the arky fans a hard time....who doesn't? but i'm pretty sure several threads just like this were started about Auburn before this past season.

Every hog fan is a certified historian. Quit living in the past. You've lost to SEC Aggy every year. And without the SEC pitch, you'll keep losing recruits and games to the Texas Aggies. Kthanks. Bai.

No one really could've predicted Auburn's record this year. Ya'll's 2012 record was really deceiving with the switch to a pro style... had Chizik stuck with the spread the record would've been closer to 6-6 or something similar.

Yeah, I expect improvement from our back 7, but you're right Tech has the ability to pass all over us. Which is where our D-line will hopefully come in. Don't know much about Tech's O-line, but I would think we have way more superior athletes on the d-line

Meh...if the QB doesn't have time to throw, the back end doesn't matter as much.
Realistically speaking, you and I both know that's what sets our league apart from the rest. We have great Dlinemen play and I expect their QB, whoever it is, to be on his back a lot.
Tech loses 8 starters on defense as well. They run a 3-4 and lose two starters up front and 3 LBs. they lose 10 total of their 2 deep on that side.

Arkansas is a worse program than Texas fricking Tech. Think about how pathetic that is.

quote:To be fair, Arkansas doesn't have the talent stock-piled like Auburn did... Also, Gus Malzahn already had his type of players present, while installing the same system that had been there the previous 3 seasons before Scot Loeffler was hired. Gus Malzahn had a lot more advantages at Auburn when he was hired vs Bret Bielema at Arkansas.
but i'm pretty sure several threads just like this were started about Auburn before this past season.
