I think it is a little of both though. I have seen several players accelerate away from our DBs (particularly Alan Turner; who is the best tackler of the group).

I meant in terms of approach/mentality...not production. I think those results also support the "give up big plays but make plays on defense" argument. Conference top 5 in TFL/G and passes defended per game, but also gave up 2nd most plays of 10+ yards. Feast or famine approach; which worked well in Auburns case since their offense was top tier.
